It's shake time!

Ooh those dreaded early mornings. I really am not a fan of them, doubt too many people are; however these shake recipes I am about to share with you guys are quite the pick me up! Delicious, nutritious, and best of all quite filling! So, if you are like me and don't like a heavy breakfast in the early morning and usually want something fresh...these are totally your best friends! Plus added bonus is that these are healthy (aside from the ice cream but you can always substitute for yogurt) and you can always add protein powder for your workouts! 








Wake and Shake:

-185 ml orange juice
-185 ml yogurt
-1/2 of a medium papaya
-5ml lime
-1/2 banana
-4 ice cubes

directions: blend until smooth
Fuzzy banana navel:
-1/2 medium banana, quartered
-125 ml orange sherbert, slightly softened
-60 ml mandarine/tangerine juice
Frozen yogurt/ice cream

directions: blend until thick and smooth

Frozen Fruit Smoothie

-125 ml frozen fruit mix of your choice (strawberries, blueberries, mangoes, peaches...all work awesome)
-60 ml milk
-50 ml strawberry yogurt

directions: blend until smooth


Banana-Nut-Berry Smoothie:

-1/2 banana
-60 ml low fat yogurt
-60 ml pecans
-60 ml frozen strawberries
-13 ml orange juice concentrate 

directions: blend until smooth
